Pupils from Olchfa Comprehensive School attended a recent art and design taster day at the Llwyn y Bryn campus.
During the session, they were able to explore creative thought processes and discover how traditional design can be turned into commercial outcomes after being transferred onto t-shirts.
"An understanding of the potential of design from beginning to end is an important part of creative education," says lecturer Marilyn Jones. "To be able to explore ideas using traditional mark making then see them develop as an original, commercial outcome, is so enterprising. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed their experience with us - trying out photography, print making and design - and hopefully it will encourage them and others to see what’s on offer within art and design courses at Llwyn y Bryn."
