A former student of Gower College Swansea returned to the Llwyn y Bryn campus this week to impart some sound advice to those currently going through the university application process.
Bradley Evans completed a Level 2 Art and Design qualification and a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Art and Design at the campus. He was then accepted onto the BA (Hons) Graphic Design course at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David and is currently in his final year.
"Bradley gave some valuable advice to our current students who are going through the application process for university at the moment," says lecturer Marilyn Jones. "He emphasised the importance of researching their choices thoroughly and also spoke about the expectations of university course tutors, who will want to develop practical skills in individuals, enhancing creativity and entrepreneurship through realistic commissions."
Bradley has undertaken many professional designs while at university, is planning an exhibition of his work in May 2015 and is even considering studying for a Master’s Degree.
"There's no better speaker for current students than a former student who has been in their place and can tell it like it is!" adds Marilyn.
