Following today's announcement from the First Minister, which outlines that cases in Wales are continuing to rise and restrictions in schools should remain in place up until Easter, we can confirm that the College will be continuing with its current covid safety measures.
These include:
- Face coverings to be worn in all communal areas
- Hand washing and sanitisation
- Space by maintaining physical distancing
- Good ventilation
We are also advising staff and students to continue to self-isolate should they experience covid symptoms or test positive.
We are aware that face coverings will no longer be mandatory on public transport from Monday (28 March), however this requirement will not apply to College contracted buses where face coverings will still be required. Indeed, our advice is that students should continue to wear coverings on all transport to and from campus.
We will review this situation regularly with the regional Incident Management Team (IMT), and any further changes will be communicated as soon as we possibly can.
Please continue to help us keep the College safe for all.
