Eligibility for Multiply Courses

Funded by UK Government. Skills for Life - Multiply.

All learners must bring one of each of the following forms of ID to their first lesson to confirm their eligibility for Multiply funding.

Proof of Age (The learner must be 19 or over)

  • Birth Certificate
  • Driving licence, full or provisional
  • Passport, expired or unexpired
  • Evidence that in receipt of age-related state benefits or government grants/loans (must state DOB).

Proof of Address (The learner must reside or work in Swansea)

  • Driving licence, full or provisional
  • Payslip (if address is noted - address must match address on eligibility form and be dated within 3 months)
  • Letter from HMRC / DWP / Jobcentre / Pension Service (address must match address on eligibility form and be dated within 3 months)
  • Household bill (address must match address on eligibility form and be dated within 3 months).

Proof of Eligibility to Access Public Funding

(Please note that those individuals with limited leave to remain (visas) are not eligible for the Multiply project)

  • Full Passport – valid, unexpired (UK national)
  • Birth Certificate (UK national)
  • Proof of pre-settled or settled status through the EU Settlement Scheme
  • Proof of indefinite leave to enter (ILE) or remain in the UK (ILR)
  • National Insurance number: confirmed to sight of plastic card; correspondence from HMRC; correspondence from DWP / Jobcentre Plus / Pension Service or letter / contract / payslip from employer
  • Evidence that the learner is in receipt of State benefits / pension: DWP / Universal Credit / Jobcentre Plus / the Pension Service correspondence e.g. new claim award / decision, change of circumstances decision letter, statements etc.
  • Application Registration Card or Standard Acknowledgement Letter (right to be in the UK whilst the application for asylum is being considered only)
  • Documentation showing the refugee status (such as BRP or passport).
