Employability Skills Programme
Overview
The City & Guilds Level 1 Diploma in Employability Skills is designed to support young people by improving their prospects for employment by equipping them with the skills that are valued by employers.
We will support learners to search for and apply for suitable employment, whilst also preparing them for further study in a chosen field.
The course will cover units such as:
• Planning for Progression
• Career Planning and Making Applications
• Creating a Positive Impression
• Customer Service
• Managing Personal Finance
• Rights and Responsibilities in the Workplace
• Enterprise & Working as a Team

Key information
Ideally you will have achieved a minimum four GCSEs at Grades D-G, but you will have the opportunity to work towards improving English and maths grades.
This programme can be joined at any stage throughout the academic year and the qualification achieved will be based on units completed.
We will aim to help support you in finding employment, or you could apply for a further full time course at college.
This course is only available to young people who will be 19 or under on 30 June 2022.
