Overview
This course is designed to help learners identify and reduce workplace stress in order to create a positive, healthier workplace.
The qualification will allow you to understand:
- The business case for addressing workplace stress and associated mental health issues
- The legal requirements, roles and responsibilities for managing workplace stress
- How to recognise the signs and effects of workplace stress
- How to identify the six aspects of workplace design that can cause workplace stress and mental ill health
- How to apply the HSE’s Management Standards approach to identify and assess work-related stress risks
Key information
The course delivery will be confirmed upon booking, and could take place at either our Jubilee Court or Sketty Hall Business School campuses.
The qualification will be assessed through a multiple choice assessment paper to be taken in the classroom.
If a learner has additional learning needs, we will require at least six weeks’ notice to implement the required processes.
