Warehousing and Storage Level 2 - QCF Certificate
Overview
This Level 2 qualification will prepare you to either enter or progress within employment in the warehousing and storage sector. It will enable learners to demonstrate your competence and understanding within your role in the industry.
It is a work-based qualification suitable for those with basic experience or understanding of the logistics industry.
Key information
The qualification will be delivered through work-based learning, which will include a one to one session taking place every 4-6 weeks at a time suitable for learner and employer.
Mandatory units
- Health and safety in the workplace
- Develop effective working relationships
Optional units
- Pick goods in logistic environments
- Assemble orders for dispatch in logistic environments
- Keep work areas clean
- Moving and/or handling goods
- Receive goods
- Keep stock at required levels
- Place goods in storage
- Process orders for customers
As learners progress through the qualification, they will create an e-portfolio of the naturally occurring evidence of the practical activity undertaken in the workplace to demonstrate knowledge and competency.
