Warehousing Level 2 - Apprenticeship
Overview
Warehousing is a fully-funded apprenticeship designed to provide learners with an exciting opportunity to gain a recognised qualification to work in the warehousing and storage sector, with the programmes accredited by City and Guilds.
The apprenticeships are delivered as stand-alone qualifications that can be used to upskill new or existing staff. The Level 2 apprenticeship is for those who are already working in a warehousing role who are looking to become fully qualified in their area.
Key information
To be eligible for apprenticeship funding, the apprentice must be employed for more than 16 hours per week and based in Wales.
The learners will be allocated a dedicated tutor/assessor who will work closely with both the learners and employer to ensure the units selected are suited to their individual roles and organisational priorities. The tutor/assessor will visit the learner every 4-6 weeks to conduct observations for the performance criteria, and discuss requirements for completing written statements to cover the knowledge criteria.
The knowledge criteria will require learners to prepare statements in their own time.

Warehousing Level 3 - Apprenticeship
To successfully complete the apprenticeship, learners will undertake work relevant to their individual role and learning environment. Competency will be assessed by observation and through gathering product evidence. The assessments and statements will be reviewed during the regular 1-2-1 meetings with tutor/assessors in the workplace. Gower College Swansea utilises Smart Assessor which is an online apprenticeship management tool enabling provider, learner and employer to effectively track learner progress.
