Overview
This qualification consists of EAL 4337 Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations, as well as EAL 4338 Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations. It is a combined course where candidates will obtain the necessary preparation to test, inspect and certify electrical installations.
The course is primarily suitable for qualified electricians, final year electrical apprentices or experienced workers taking their EWA certificate.
Key information
It is expected that applicants have working knowledge and hold a certificate in the 18th Edition Electrical Regulations.
We will require a photocopy for your 18th Edition certificate, and of your Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Electro technical Technology (233). Alternatively, you must produce evidence that you are working towards your Level 3 Electro technical Experienced Worker qualification before attending the course.
Entry is subject to an interview.
The delivery options for the course are either six days day release, or 12 weeks as an evening course.
Assessments will include online examinations and practical assessments.
