Fashion and Photographic Make-Up - Certificate
Overview
This specialist vocationally related qualification is based on designing and applying fashion and photographic make-up which includes incorporating high fashion trends, period, catwalk, fantasy, bridal and commercial looks. Additionally you will learn the criteria required for both colour and black and white photography.

Key information
Suitable for students who have already studied Level 2 Certificate in Cosmetic Make-Up and Beauty Consultancy or who have a good general education.
A positive attitude and enthusiasm is essential. You must have good communication skills and be well presented.
Devliered over one evening per week (6-9pm) and over 34 weeks.
Students will be expected to visit various locations and undertake home study, including written and practical coursework, which makes this an ideal route for those who wish to study flexibly around other commitments.
Procedures and techniques are demonstrated by the tutor, learners will then practice on their model. Learners will be assessed on their practical techniques and by written assessments.
It is possible to progress in this skilled area to camouflage make-up, advanced make-up techniques including airbrushing or Level 3 Diploma in Fashion, Theatre, Media and Hair Studies.
Students will be expected to wear full length black trousers, flat black enclosed shoes, plain black top and an apron.
