This introductory course is designed for beginners looking to gain hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit, a leading Building Information Modeling (BIM) software widely used in architecture, engineering, and construction. Whether you're a beginner or transitioning from another CAD platform, this course provides a practical foundation in the essential tools and features of Revit. Through step-by-step guidance, you'll learn how to create, modify, and manage building models, as well as how to produce detailed drawings and documentation for real-world projects.
Course objectives:
- Understand the core principles and interface of Revit
- Learn how to create and manipulate basic building elements (walls, floors, roofs, windows, etc.)
- Develop skills in navigating 3D models and producing floor plans, elevations, and sections
- Gain familiarity with the BIM workflow and its applications in project coordination
- Learn how to set up sheets, annotations, and construction documentation
- Explore the basics of rendering and visualization in Revit.
