Overview
This qualification helps organisations to optimise their operations by simplifying, automating and transforming business tasks and processes.
Learners will understand how to build Power Apps, Automate Flows, as well as extend the platform to complete business requirements and solve complex business problems that include customer user experience, system integrations, data conversions, customer process automation and custom visualisations. Learners will also gain applied knowledge of Power Platform services, including in-depth understanding of capabilities, boundaries and constraints.
Learners will be provided with the means and post-delivery support to undertake the Microsoft PL400 exam, and to achieve PL400 certified status.
Sitting the PL400 exam is a requirement of the qualification funding, and all participants will be expected to share the exam outcome with Gower College Swansea.
Key information
Learners must have:
- A strong applied knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform services, including an in-depth understanding of its capabilities, boundaries and constraints
- An applied knowledge of authentication, security and application lifecycle management (ALM) practices for the Microsoft Power Platform
- An applied knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform developer tools, including Power Platform CLI as part of the developer workflow
Learners should also have development experience that includes JavaScript, JSON, TypeScript, C#, HTML, .NET, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, RESTful Web Services, ASP.NET and Power BI.

- Create and manage columns within a table in Dataverse
