Overview

This qualification covers the various methods and best practices that are in line with business and technical requirements for modelling, visualising and analysing data with Power BI. The course will demonstrate how to access and process data from a range of data sources including both relational and non-relational sources, as well as discuss how to manage and deploy reports and dashboards for sharing and content distribution.

Learners will be provided with the means and post delivery support to undertake the Microsoft PL300 exam and achieve PL300 certified status.

Sitting the PL300 exam is a requirement of funding and all participants will be expected to share the exam outcome with Gower College Swansea.

Key information

Candidates should be a data professional or business intelligence professional looking to learn how to accurately perform data analysis using Power BI. The qualification is also targeted toward individuals who develop reports that visualise data from the data platform technologies that exist in the cloud and on-premises. Candidates should be broadly familiar with Power Query and DAX.
