If any learner wishes to submit a review of their results, please do this online.
You may request a centre review and subsequently appeal to the awarding body where you believe an error has been made in determining your grade. You must state clearly where you believe an error has been made.

Celebrity chef gives students a taste of culinary career
An iconic British chef gave a group of students from Gower College Swansea a sneak peek behind the scenes of his Swansea restaurant along with an insight into his inspiring career.Marco Pierre White, who last year opened his Steakhouse Bar & Grill at the J-Shed in SA1, met up with four of the College’s Catering and Hospitality students earlier this week.
Mr Pierre White held an informal discussion with the students about his career, the industry and provided invaluable hints and tips of the trade.

Gower College Swansea has been awarded the coveted titles of ‘UK Digital Apprenticeship Provider of the Year’ and ‘UK Engineering and Manufacturing Apprenticeship Provider of the Year’ at the FE Week and AELP AAC National Apprenticeship Awards. The College was the only Welsh provider to win an award and the only provider in the UK to secure two awards at the event.

A Refreshing Day Out at Rhossili Bay
Rhossili Bay’s gorgeous views and expansive sands made quite an impression on our current 1st year cohort.Students were delighted to finally have the opportunity to relax together and socialise at one of Gower’s most popular beaches. Rain looked likely, but fortunately, the weather stayed dry and mild during our group visit.
“It’s one of the best views I’ve ever seen, and Worms Head Island reminds me of my favourite beach at home,” said Nick, who is originally from Cambodia.

Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama success for Byddia and Jae
Two talented Gower College Swansea students have been accepted to study BA (HONS) Musical Theatre at a prestigious, specialist college in Wales.The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama is the National Conservatoire of Wales and attracts some of the most gifted students from around the world.
They provide specialist practical and performance-based training in music and drama and compete for the best students globally, enabling students to enter the world of music, theatre, and related professions.

Gower College Swansea Virtual Annual Student Awards 2021
For the second consecutive year, the Gower College Swansea Annual Student Awards moved online and proved, once again, to be a fantastic virtual celebration of learner achievement.
The event comprised of 23 separate award categories from across the College’s wide range of provision including full time, part time, apprenticeships, employability programmes and Higher Education courses.

The Centre Review process has now been completed and all grades have been sent to WJEC.
If you requested a review you will be emailed a response and the outcome by the end of today - Monday 5 July.
There will be another opportunity to appeal once the final grades are published by WJEC on 10 August (A Level) and 12 August (GCSE).
Information on how to do this will be provided with your results on the above dates. You will also be sent information shortly to inform you when and where to collect your results.

Businesses encouraged to enhance staff’s digital skills with fully funded training
Gower College Swansea is encouraging businesses in South West Wales to enrol their staff onto fully funded digital training to ensure they have the skills to take advantage of the latest technologies and tools.
With nearly 40% of the UK’s working population lacking digital skills, the College is urging businesses to sign up staff to their suite of fully-funded work-based learning qualifications to help bridge the skills gaps in this area.
