The 22-year-old, who was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) at 17, has overcome drug addiction and the loss of his brother-in-law to addiction to excel as a talented carpenter.
Leadership seminar: Looking to the future – a unique opportunity to learn from industry leaders
Gower College Swansea is thrilled to announce a leadership seminar taking place on Thursday 19 September, 10am – 4pm at Sketty Hall Business School.
Titled Looking to the future, the event is a rare opportunity to gain a fantastic insight into leadership and management from a distinguished lineup of guest speakers, including Menai Owen Jones, Ben Burggraaf, Stuart Davies, Bernie Davies and Paul Kift.

Gower College Swansea has held a special Welsh-themed welcome event for students.
Croeso Day 2024 saw staff and learners, who are fluent speakers, enjoy a range of activities designed to get everyone using their Welsh as they get to know one another.
Entertainment was provided by pioneering beat-boxer and live looping artist, Mr Phormula, while Doctor Cymraeg was also on hand to share the importance of using any Welsh at any opportunity.

Quadruple A* student Daisy Cavendish is celebrating her Results Day successes with a reflection on the support she’s received during her time at Gower College Swansea.
Achieving four A*s in Chemistry, Biology, Maths and the Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales, Daisy is headed to the University of Exeter to study Medicine, following her participation in Gower College Swansea’s dedicated Medics, Dentists and Vets (MDV) Preparation Programme.

English language skills pay off for Eleri
A Level student Eleri Reed has won first prize in a competition run by Aston University for Year 12 English Language students across the UK.
Not only did Eleri win the first prize of a £50 book voucher but her classmates will also receive a personalised lecture on a topic of their choice, recorded especially for them by a member of Aston University’s academic staff.

Those with fixed results days should look out for an invitation from us w/c Monday 5 August. This will detail the arrangements for collecting your results. The fixed results days are:
A Level, Vocational Level 3 (such as BTEC, OCR, UAL, NCFE) and Welsh Baccalaureate
Thursday 15 August 2024 (from 9.15am)
GCSE and Vocational Level 2
Thursday 22 August 2024 (from 9.15am)
Results will also be available via eILP on both days.
Please note that you must bring ID, which includes your name, in order to collect your results.
