New students welcomed to Gower College Swansea

New students had a chance to find out more about campus life when they attended the Gower College Swansea Freshers’ Fayres at the Tycoch and Gorseinon Campuses.

“The Freshers’ Fayres are a fantastic opportunity to welcome new students to the College,” says Learner Experience and Wellbeing Manager, Joshua Jordan.

“They can get to know each other, pick up useful information and have a go at the many free activities on offer. They also have an opportunity to sign up for College clubs, sport academies, enterprise events, Welsh language groups, the Kenya Community Education Project, or even find out how to become a student governor!”

Among the many stall holders were representatives from the College’s award-winning Student Union, the Environment and Sustainability team and Sport Centre. Students were also able to get advice on a range of topics from managing money and employability to health matters.
