Overview
This qualification teaches learners how to implement, manage and monitor security for resources in Azure, multi-cloud and hybrid environments as part of an end-to-end infrastructure.
Candidates will look at identity and access, data, applications and networks, whilst learning about managing the security posture, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities, performing threat modelling, and implementing threat protection.
Learners will be provided with the means and post-delivery support to undertake the Microsoft AZ500 exam, and to achieve AZ500 certified status.
Sitting the AZ500 exam is a requirement of the qualification funding, and all participants will be expected to share the exam outcome with Gower College Swansea.
Key information
Learners should have practical experience in administration of Microsoft Azure and hybrid environments, as well as a strong familiarity with compute, network and storage in Azure and Microsoft Entra ID.
