Units include:-
Introduction to Bookkeeping
Unit covers: - understanding financial transactions within a bookkeeping system, processing customer transactions, processing supplier transactions, processing receipts and payments, processing transactions through into the ledger accounts.
Principles of Bookkeeping Controls
Unit covers: - understanding payment methods, understanding controls in a bookkeeping system, using control accounts, using the journal, reconciling a bank statement with the cash book, produce trial balances.

Key information
Ideally, students should have one or two GCSE Grades A-C however, common sense and an aptitude for numbers and estimation are more important. Open to students of all ages
Tuition is based around classroom delivered face-to-face, by highly qualified and experienced members of staff.
Examinations are on-line assessments.
Students will be able to progress to and complete the Association of Accounting Technicians AAT Level 2 full qualification, start the Association of Accounting Technicians AAT Level 3 or join our new Association of Accounting Technician AAT Level 3 Bookkeeping course.
The course also provides a qualification that employers are looking for.
