Two leadership and management learners were recently awarded for their completion at a special ceremony at Norton House, Mumbles.
The students, who are switchboard employees at Swansea Bay University Health Board (SBUHB), and who have been studying part-time alongside work, had an opportunity to celebrate their well-earned success with peers and colleagues.
Receiving their ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) Level 3 certificates were Brendon Bunford and Megan McGowan and both are now progressing onto the Level 4.
Speaking about the event, Jane Freeman, Leadership and Management Trainer at Gower College Swansea said: “It was my privilege to attend the presentation ceremony where two of my recent learners received their certificates.
“Heartfelt congratulations to Brendon and Megan on their remarkable achievement! As they embark on their Level 4 ILM journey, I have no doubt they will continue to excel. It's been a joy to witness their dedication and growth, and I eagerly anticipate supporting them in their next step.”
Speaking about their achievements, Ruth Evans, Learning and Development Project Manager at SBUHB said: “It’s great to be able to offer a wide range of courses to staff to enable them to improve their skills and use these within their important roles on our switchboard.
"The support that they have had from the Gower College Swansea work-based learning training team and their assessor has allowed them to complete the programme whilst working and progress onto the higher level to build their knowledge further.”
