Around 50 A Level students at Gower College Swansea recently attended a special hustings event at the Gorseinon Campus which allowed them the opportunity to ask questions of their local constituency candidates.
A group of our A Level Geography and Geology students have taken the trip of a lifetime to Iceland.
This trip allowed them to see key tectonic features in real life while further developing their knowledge on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge (the division between the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates), seeing evidence of tectonic processes such as an active geyser, and even experiencing the chance to bath in natural, warm geothermal hot-springs.
