Food Safety in Catering (Highfield) Level 2 - Award
Overview
This qualification is designed to address the food safety and hygiene needs of the catering sector, due to the growing need to make food safety learning relevant to specific business environments to increase overall effectiveness.
At Level 2, the qualification aims to prepare learners for employment in a catering role, or to support a role in the workplace.
Learners will develop the knowledge that food safety is the responsibility of everyone involved in the storage, preparation, cooking service and handling of food.
Key information
The Level 2 qualification is delivered in one day, and will include a one hour multiple-choice examination.
If a learner has additional learning needs, we will require at least six weeks’ notice to implement the required processes.
