Food Safety in Catering (Highfield) Level 3 - Award
Overview
This qualification is designed to address the food safety and hygiene needs of the catering sector, due to the growing need to make food safety learning relevant to specific business environments to increase overall effectiveness.
The Level 3 qualification is designed to support a role in the workplace, and provide learners with personal growth and engagement in learning. It is also suitable for learners aiming to progress to higher or supervisory level roles within a food catering business.
Key information
The Level 3 qualification will be delivered over two days at a venue confirmed at booking. Potential venues include our Jubilee Court or Sketty Hall Business School campuses.
Topics include ensuring compliance with food safety legislation, the application and monitoring of good hygiene practice, how to implement food safety management procedures and the application and monitoring of good practice regarding contamination, microbiology and temperature control.
If a learner has additional learning needs, we will require at least six weeks’ notice to implement the required processes.
