Computerised Accounts Level 2 - Agored Cymru
Overview
This level 2 course is designed to be an introduction to computerised accounts software for those who current work, or wish to work, in an accountancy role.
Study details
Hands on computer work combining theory and practical computerised accounts including:
- Posting to accounts
- Maintaining ledgers
- Processing sales and purchase documents
- VAT returns
- Profit & loss accounts
- Trial balances
- Balance sheets
- Bank reconciliation
- Petty cash transactions
- Completion and printing of company invoices etc.
Key information
Ideally, students should have one or two GCSE Grades A-C however, common sense and an aptitude for numbers and estimation are more important. Open to students of all ages.
15 hours tuition over 5 week part-time delivery:
Tuesdays (6-9pm) at Sketty Hall Business School
Assessment:
- Continuous Assessment throughout the course
- Final assessment
- No formal examinations.
Opportunity to progress to the Association of Accounting Technicians Courses in Accountancy.
The course also provides a qualification that employers are looking for.
