Gower College Swansea has announced Stuart Davies as its new Business Development Consultant.
Having grown up only a stone’s throw away from the College’s Hill House estate in Tycoch, Stuart spent 14 years at the highest level of rugby, as a regular for both Swansea RFC and Wales, before amassing an extensive depth of knowledge across a wide range of sectors and specialisms within business.
Stuart has previously been responsible for multi-million pound budgets and sizeable tender processes, as well as specialising in strategic/business planning and risk management.
Stuart arrives at Gower College Swansea with a wealth of experience, having previously worked as Executive Director of Development and Property Services at Gwalia, Chief Executive at Dragons Rugby and Business Development Director at Morganstone.
Stuart is exceptionally well networked, particularly within Wales, and is highly recognised for his work as a rugby pundit, commentator and reporter across national television and radio broadcasters.
The College has appointed Stuart to strengthen its existing client relationships, in addition to creating future partnerships with other forward thinking organisations.
“I am delighted to be working with Gower College Swansea,” says Stuart.
“Having grown up in Swansea, I am very much aware of the College’s excellent reputation and the role that it plays in supporting so many individuals and companies with their training and development needs.
“Indeed, I have experienced this first hand, and I hope that my professional and personal background will serve to help the College with the further delivery of their business objectives.”
“We are delighted to welcome Stuart to Gower College Swansea” adds Paul Kift, Director of Skills and Business Development.
“Stuart rightly enjoys an excellent profile due to his fantastic sporting achievements, but he has also earned a stellar reputation amongst the Welsh business community due to the expertise he has forged within industry. We are extremely pleased to secure his services – our clients and partners will only serve to benefit from his arrival at the College.”
