Overview
The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Aromatherapy is a substantial vocational qualification that will prepare you for a career as an aromatherapist. This vocational qualification includes all the required elements to work effectively as an aromatherapist whilst developing your understanding and practical skills to competently provide aromatherapy services.
Throughout this qualification you will develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology, health and safety, client care and essential oils. You will develop a range of technical skills enabling you to blend essential oils in a tailor-made fashion for each client and provide relaxing aromatherapy massage treatments using different massage techniques. You will also develop interpersonal skills that will assist you to communicate effectively with clients.

- Applicants whose first language is not English will need to have an ESOL Level 2 qualification.
Continuous practical assessment, exams, case studies and written assignments.
Students will be expected to undertake home study, including written and practical coursework.
Career opportunities as an aromatherapist include working in commercial complementary therapy clinic, in NHS hospital, care home or working independently.
Learners are required to purchase a kit and uniform as part of their course.
