Gower College Swansea offers fully funded training for businesses

Gower College Swansea is committed to providing customised training solutions for businesses across Wales.

With a focus on upskilling workforces and developing growth opportunities, the award-winning College is offering a number of fully funded* courses set to start at the end of May.

Areas include:

Information, advice and guidance/customer service, suitable for those working in a customer centred role, whether that is in a contact centre environment, housing services, community hubs, hospitals, hospitality or retail.

Facilities management, perfect for individuals who manage or supervise premises - whether that is working in offices, schools, care homes or event facilities/venues.

Sustainable resource management, ideal for those working in recycling centres, health boards, local authorities, prison services, and leisure facilities.

Digital and business administration programmes, which is catered for those working in office related roles across various industries and sectors including public sector, accountancy firms, insurance companies and recruitment agencies.

Eligible businesses, their employees and individuals can benefit from this fully funded offer. Flexible training is available, and participants will study nationally recognised qualifications or a tailored programme directly relevant to the workplace.

Previous programme participants have benefited from increased employee confidence, motivation, productivity and improved employee loyalty and retention.

Speaking about how employers have benefitted from this support, Sarah Jenkins, Interim Director of Workforce and OD at Swansea Bay University Health Board said: “Working with providers such as Gower College Swansea has given the organisation greater opportunity to work cohesively and collaboratively to develop training plans in a strategic approach.”
