Two former Performing Arts students have returned to Gower College Swansea to share some words of wisdom.
Brothers Amukelani (Kel) and Anthony Matsena visited the Gorseinon Campus to meet with current student and discuss their experiences of auditioning and competing for places at specialist drama colleges.
Kel has just embarked on his final year at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School while Anthony, a recent graduate of the London Contemporary Dance School, is a Young Associate at Sadler’s Wells Theatre.
“Kel and Anthony passed on some very useful hints and tips to our current cohort of students, who are about to embark on the very competitive auditions process at colleges around the UK,” says lecturer Wyn Richards. “Both have progressed to excellent specialist colleges since leaving Gower College Swansea so it was fantastic for our current students to hear their stories and gain some insight into what they can expect over the next few months.”
