Apprenticeship Week Wales
Apprenticeship Week Wales is an annual week-long celebration of apprenticeships and the vital role they play in shaping Wales’ future workforce, empowering learners and driving business success across the Welsh economy.
Apprenticeship Week activities
For Apprenticeship Week Wales 2026, which ran from Monday 9 February to Sunday 15 February, we celebrated through a range of activities:
- On Monday 9 February, we held our annual Apprenticeship Awards. The ceremony celebrated the achievements of our apprentices, employers and staff.
- On Wednesday 4 February, we held an Apprenticeship and Recruitment Fair for people of any age interested in an apprenticeship. This was a great success, with over 500 attending to chat with lecturers and employers. Keep an eye on our events page to see upcoming apprenticeship and recruitment events.
- Throughout the week we held free professional development webinars covering diverse sectors including management, digital, finance, customer service, legal services, facilities management and engineering. Sharing valuable insights for both current and prospective apprentices.
We look forward to celebrating Apprenticeship Week Wales again in 2027!
