Overview

This apprenticeship is not only a Resource/Waste Management qualification at degree level, but also a Management and Leadership qualification.

The apprenticeship has been designed to provide individuals working in management roles on waste sites with the skills to operate their site effectively, and is ideal for new or experienced staff managing waste and resource management operations that require evidence of their competence.

Resource Management as a sector is becoming vital for organisations, due to organisations acting ethically and taking their corporate social responsibility seriously to meet UK Government objectives for a zero net carbon United Kingdom by 2050.

The Level 4 underpins a broad range of occupational roles in the collection, environmental, CSR, transport, treatment and final management of waste and resources, along with budgeting, financial planning and team management.

This is a flexible qualification that can be tailored to meet the requirements of specific job roles in the sector or a particular organisation.
