Overview

This Creative Media Production and Technology Level 4 apprenticeship is designed to bridge the skills gap in the creative sector in Wales. Through this innovative programme, you will gain industry-relevant training and be introduced to the diverse employment opportunities within the Creative Media sector.

The programme also emphasises health and safety in the sector, teaching you about relevant regulations and how to conduct risk assessments to keep yourself safe at work.

The curriculum covers a wide range of topics that will be invaluable for your career, including initiating and maintaining effective communication with other specialists in interactive media, collaborating on projects, and responding constructively to feedback. You will develop skills to conduct discussions and negotiations that foster good working relationships important for future roles.

With its flexible delivery model and emphasis on employability skills, you are guaranteed a comprehensive educational experience. Enrichment opportunities include hands-on projects such as video production, providing you with practical industry experience to advance your career.

Five GCSEs at grade A-C or the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production.

Applicants should demonstrate a keen interest in the creative media sector and possess a foundational understanding of digital tools and platforms.

The programme offers a blend of theoretical and practical learning experiences, delivered through flexible modules to accommodate various working patterns. The curriculum encompasses a wide range of topics, from health and safety in the creative media sector to advanced skills in interactive media product design and development.

Learning is supported by a pastoral programme focused on personal and professional growth.

Engagement with industry professionals and involvement in real-world projects ensure that apprentices develop relevant skills and knowledge to thrive in the creative industries.

There are no studio fees at Level 4.
