Kick start your day with a healthy breakfast - free porridge for all students available from the canteens in Gorseinon, Llwyn y Bryn and Tycoch. Eating a healthy breakfast, like oatmeal, gives you energy and helps improve concentration in class. Available every day throughout Healthy Colleges Week in Gorseion and Tycoch from 9.30am - 11am and Llwyn y Bryn from 10am - 11.30am.
Keep hydrated - science demonstrates that being well hydrated can improve concentration. Take the opportunity to purchase a bottle of water from the canteen and get the second one free.
Tycoch campus event on Tuesday 13 January in the Common Room, 11am - 2pm / Gorseinon campus Wednesday 14 January 12pm - 3pm Drop in for an informal, fun and interactive experience including:
- a variety of interactive stands (EYST, Crossroads etc)
- taste test some healthy options
- take your 'healthy pledge' in the photo booth
- have a taster session with kettle bells, punch pads, power hula hoops and circus skills
- find out what is happening at 360 Water Sports
- ask questions on the impact of drugs or alcohol with the experts to hand
- get advice on giving up smoking from the Stop Smoking Wales stand
- find out about support available for young carers, young people etc

- Boxercise Monday 12 January, 12.30pm - 1.30pm, Gorseinon theatre
- Weight Training session Tuesday 13th, Sports Centre, Tycoch
- Kettle Bells, Tababta and Hula Hoop session (20 minutes of each) Friday 16th, 1.30-3.00pm, Room A27
