Dydd Mercher 15fed Hydref oedd Diwrnod Shwmae Su’mae swyddogol Cymru. Bu criw o fyfyrwyr a staff Coleg Gŵyr Abertawe yn cymryd rhan yn y diwrnod arbennig yma i ddathlu’r Gymraeg, gan ddechrau sgwrs gyda ‘Shwmae?’. Dros sawl campws anogwyd ein myfyrwyr i gychwyn sgwrs gyda ‘Shwmae?’ drwy dynnu llun o’u hunain gyda #ShwmaeSumae.
Rhoddwyd nifer o’r lluniau ar Twitter fel bod ein bod yn cymryd rhan gyda #ShwmaeSumae a chodi ymwybyddiaeth o symlrwydd defnyddio dipyn bach o Gymraeg bob dydd wrth gyfarch.

Wednesday 15th October was the official Shwmae Sumae Day in Wales. A number of students and staff at Gower College Swansea took part in this special day to celebrate the Welsh language by starting a conversation with ‘Shwmae?' Over each campus, students were encouraged to start a conversation with ‘Shwmae?’ by taking a photo with a #ShwmaeSumae speech bubble.
A number of photos were put on Twitter so that the college took part in the #ShwmaeSumae, and raised awareness of the simplicity of using a little Welsh each day as a greeting.
