Overview

Coaching and Mentoring is designed to support individuals in the development of knowledge of professional coaching, helping them to understand the core requirements for effective coaching practice.

The qualification is available as a concise Award, a broader Certificate or as a comprehensive Diploma. 

Key information

Learners must be new to organisational coaching and mentoring, or looking to develop coaching and mentoring practice.

Learners will be allocated a dedicated tutor/assessor, who will work closely with both learners and employer to ensure the unit content is suited to their individual role, organisational priorities and meets the requirements of the qualification. Delivery can be remote, or the tutor/assessor can visit the learner every four to six weeks at a location convenient for both learner and assessor.

Upon successful completion of the course, CMI would recommend the following qualifications:
