Overview
This Digital Discovery Day is aimed at anyone looking to make digital content more accessible and inclusive across business, education, charities or personal use.
Participants will explore tools primarily within Microsoft 365, learning how to create documents that are not only accessible but better structured and easier to use. The session covers features such as subtitles, translations, transcription, AI-assisted task summarising, and approaches to producing digital content with accessibility in mind.
Learners will leave with practical strategies and confidence to make their digital work clearer, more inclusive, and effective for all audiences.

Knowledge of using digital tools.
Delivered as a hands-on, interactive workshop, the morning session is tutor-led, introducing key Microsoft 365 accessibility tools and demonstrating practical ways to apply them. Participants will have time to try out the tools themselves, experimenting with formatting, transcription, AI summarising, and other features.
The afternoon session is collaborative, with an open table for sharing experiences, discussing what has worked well, troubleshooting challenges, and exploring practical solutions together.
This approach ensures learners gain both practical skills and confidence to embed accessibility into their own digital content and workflows.
