Risk Assessment (Highfield) Level 2 - Award
Overview
Employers and the self-employed have a legal duty to assess health and safety risks. Any individual carrying out a risk assessment is required to have the necessary knowledge, skills and confidence.
This qualification is a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical sessions that are designed to develop knowledge, skills, ability as well as confidence to conduct suitable and sufficient risk assessments based on current best practices on return to the workplace.
On completion of the course, learners will be able to:

- Identify key legal components in relation to risk assessment
- State how risk assessments fit into an organisations health and safety management system
- Identify and apply the key stages of a risk assessment
