Are you ready to discover new opportunities and enhance your skills? Look no further than Skills for Swansea, a collection of free* courses delivered by Gower College Swansea for those living or working in Swansea.

Designed to empower individuals to learn something new and improve employability skills, the Skills for Swansea project covers a diverse range of free courses tailored to meet the evolving demands of the local economy.

The College is committed to supporting individuals aged 19 and above in their journey towards retraining and upskilling, and with a strong understanding of the local economic landscape, it has a comprehensive suite of courses aimed at helping to boost skills.

•    Customer Service 
•    Risk Management
•    Environmental Awareness
•    Green Energy and Sustainability
•    Health and Safety
•    Cycle Maintenance
•    Facilities Management

Paul Kift, director of skills and business development at Gower College Swansea said: "We are delighted to be offering these courses aimed at upskilling people with the skills needed to be at the forefront of today's job market.

Skills for Swansea is accessible for those aged 19 or over, who are living in or working in Swansea. 

Skills for Swansea is funded by the Shared Prosperity Fund through the UK Government's Levelling Up programme. The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a central pillar of the UK government's Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion across the UK of funding for local investment by March 2025.
