Health and Social Care: Adult, Children and Young People Level 2
Overview
A one year course introducing the principles, values and knowledge needed to work with adults, children and young people in the health and social care sector.
Students will develop skills and qualities needed for a career in health and social care through taught sessions and work placement.
Key information
2 GCSE at C grade and a portfolio of D-E grades.
Over 4 days a week 9:00 – 16:30
Assessment:
Controlled assessments and a multiple choice exam
Grading Criteria:
Pass/Fail
Staying within the college, you could progress to the Level 3 Health and Social Care: Principles and Contexts or employment/apprenticeships within the health and social care sector.
Students will need to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) application at the start of the course. Cost is approximately £40.
