New Catering and Hospitality students at Gower College Swansea were treated to a live demonstration as part of their induction
Former students Ben Adams and David Davies returned to the Tycoch kitchens to prepare chicken and chorizo terrine, sauté supreme of chicken with dauphinoise potatoes, butternut squash puree and panache of vegetables, followed by chocolate chartreuse mousse.
“Both students have gone on to carve out successful careers in the industry – Ben as an acting executive chef and David as a sous chef,” says lecturer Stephen Williams. “It was a great experience for our new students to meet them and find out more about the kinds of career paths they might one day follow themselves.”
