Practice Art in Welsh
Overview
Explore your creativity and develop your Welsh language skills in this multidisciplinary art course. You’ll have the opportunity to try out various mediums and processes, whilst naturally expanding your vocabulary and building confidence in using Welsh.
It's an opportunity to try out some new creative techniques, like collage, bookmaking, printmaking, alongside practicing your Welsh and getting to know new people who are also learning Welsh.
The classes beginning Tuesday 4 November 2025 are designed for Intermediate, Advanced, and Fluent Welsh speakers who wish to strengthen their conversational skills and enjoy social interaction through the medium of Welsh.
The classes starting on Tuesday 24 February 2026 are tailored for Access and Foundation level learners, providing a supportive environment to build confidence and develop Welsh language skills while engaging creatively through art.
Key information

- No previous art experience.
The course is delivered face to face.
Staying with Gower College Swansea, you could progress to other art related/or other craft evening courses that are delivered bilingually, or enrol on to Welsh courses with the Centre for learning Welsh.
