UPDATE Important information re: Tycoch Campus 28 September
Further to our update last week on the identified RAAC (Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) that is present in a small, isolated area of the Tycoch campus of Gower College Swansea, structural engineers have now completed a detailed review of the campus.
As a result we have decided to close 2 rooms – one a classroom and one a staffroom – on the building’s D floor – whilst remedial work is undertaken.

Gower College Swansea’s international students, who are aged between 16 and 18, come from countries all over the world. This year the College have students from Cambodia, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Iran, Italy, Romania, Russia, South Korea, Taiwan, the United Arab Emirates and Vietnam.

Students at Gower College Swansea are celebrating a strong set of A Level and vocational Level 3 results again in 2023.
The overall A Level pass rate is 98%, with 1391 separate exam entries. Of these passes, 35% are at grades A*-A, 60% are at A*-B and 82% are at A*-C.
The overall pass rate at AS Level is 95%, with 74% of those passes being grades A - C and 53% being grades A - B. There were 2119 separate exam entries for AS.

Gower College Swansea's highly anticipated prom, held at the historic Patti Pavilion, marked a perfect end to the term. The night's theme was ‘masquerade ball,' and the students did not disappoint, arriving in their most glamorous attire and elegant eye masks.
The event, well deserved after years of hard work and dedication, was one to remember with music, dance and delicious Indian cuisine. As the doors swung open, the electric atmosphere excited the students and they wasted no time in hitting the dance floor.

Those with fixed results days should look out for an invitation from us w/c Monday 7 August. This will detail the arrangements for collecting your results. The fixed results days are:
A Level, Vocational Level 3 (such as BTEC,OCR,UAL,NCFE) and Welsh Baccalaureate
Thursday 17 August 2023 (from 9.15am)
GCSE and Vocational Level 2
Thursday 24 August 2023 (from 9.15am)
Results will also be available via eILP on both days.
Please note that you must bring ID, which includes your name, in order to collect your results.
