College celebrates Swansea Council ILM cohort success

Gower College Swansea was delighted to celebrate the achievements of Swansea Council’s Parks and Cleansing team.

Jeremy Davies’ team embarked on their ILM Level 3 Award just over twelve months ago, and with the support and guidance of the College’s tutors Adele Morgan and Susan Washer, the team successfully graduated at an intimate celebration event at Sketty Hall Business School.

“It was a rewarding experience to work with the Council cohort. Despite the challenges faced, the group worked together to achieve their ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management. Increased levels of confidence were evident on the completion of this journey, enabling individuals to progress with their development.” said Adele Morgan, Tutor/Assessor at Gower College Swansea.

Chris Howell, Head of Waste Management and Parks & Cleansing Operations at Swansea Council, added “I’m so proud of our members of staff who have worked extremely hard to achieve this qualification.  Everyone has fully embraced the course, grown in confidence, and excelled in all the tasks they faced.  Most of all they should all be very proud of their own achievements. I would also like to thank Gower College Swansea and their staff for supporting and helping all participants along their journey.”
