To achieve this QCF Diploma the candidate has to achieve a minimum of 46 credits, made up of mandatory and optional units. Thus a candidate is able to contextualize the award to meet the specific service needs within the care setting and the candidate’s job role. Mandatory units are based upon core subjects such as communication, safeguarding and health and safety.
